Virtual Lab: Nanocarbon - From Graphene to Buckyballs
University of Virginia

This presentation explains how carbon rings provide the building blocks for cyclohexane, benzene, graphene, graphite, nanotubes, and C60 Buckyballs. It employs interactive 3D models that you can rotate, move and magnify using your mouse or trackpad.

These models are now displayed using secure and browser-friendly "Three.js" JavaScript (replacing earlier use of "Shockwave / Flash"). But your browser may still take 10-20 seconds to load these complex 3D models - PLEASE BE PATIENT.
