Virtual Lab: Resistor Waterwheel Analogy

The water represents the electrons in the circuit. The height represents the voltage. The wheel represents the resistor. As the electrons fall from high to low, energy is available to do work. Note the electrons are just like the water and are not consumed as they fall from high to low voltage.
